You would be placed at a 1 because you are doing these actions to make your boss inclined toward you so that you could obtain a raise. Since you are essentially doing everything for the boss, you would be trying as hard as you could to get the boss to do what you want by doing favors for him, and since you are not really doing anything against him, you would be at a 1.
